Agnes May (Harrington) Ray, age 95 of Alpine, NY was born on February 5, 1916 and passed away on December 24, 2011. She went peacefully in her sleep to be home with her Lord and Savior in heaven to celebrate Christmas with her family and friends that predeceased her. Mrs. Ray is pre-deceased by her husband, Clifton H. Ray, sister, Luella Hitchcock, son in law, Clifford Rounds, daughter in laws, Sharon Ray and Beverly Ray and her Aunt, Eldora Mullen. Mrs. Ray is survived by her daughter, Sharon Rounds and her sons, Frederick (Joyce), Clifton and Ira Ray, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families along with many dear friends to give thanks for her life and the strength and joy she brought to each of us. Agnes was the Organist-Pianist for the Alpine Methodist Church for 25 years. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee Street, Montour Falls, NY on Friday, December 30, 2011 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Her funeral and committal services will be held there following visitation at 7:30 PM. The Rev. Bruce Varner will officiate.
