Andy R. Mattison, 46, of Beaver Dams, NY, passed away at home on Sunday, January 15, 2023 due to an accidental fire. He was born in Corning, NY on March 20, 1976, the son of Sam and Pat Mattison and graduated from Corning East High School. Andy worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and liked to go fishing when he was younger. He is survived by his parents, Sam and Pat Mattison of Beaver Dams; children, Liam McKerrow of Corning and Andy Mattison, Jr. of NY; two sisters, Becky Young of NC and Kim Mattison of Corning; a brother, Danny Mattison of Beaver Dams; and by several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Andy's life will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Crystal City VFW Post 524, 281 Baker St., Corning, NY 14830.
