In memory of Angel L. Colon who passed away on September 21 ^st , 2023 at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Home.

He was 76 years young.  He was born in Puerto Rico, his parents Victor Colon and Gladys Colon Dilan.

He leaves behind his loving wife Maryann Colon of 56 years of marriage.  He has two surviving children Jamie L. Colon and Martin D. Colon, a loving sister Anna Colon Velarde.

He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren who loved him very much.  Loving nieces, nephews and cousins whom he loved dearly.

Maryann would like to thank Seneca View for taking good care of her husband and Dr. Saks for caring for him in his last moments.  She truly appreciates it from the bottom of her heart.  Also a special thank you to her sister Diane Salterieli who helped her to get through this, without her she would have been lost, and my daughter and son.   Also a special thanks to my friends and neighbors for all the cards and prayers from Jefferson Village Apartments.  Maryann thanks the Lord that Angel is free to spread his wings.  Maryann fell in love with him the first time she saw him, she loved him then, yesterday, today and tomorrow until they meet again.

Angel will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Watkins Glen on Thursday, October 12 ^th , 2023 at 11:00 am.  Memories of Angel may be shared with his family and friends at haugheywoodzinger.com
