She began her career at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady, NY in the admissions department . She worked her way up to being an office and business manager at Cardiology Associates in Schenectady, eventually retiring from the organization.

She was a multi-talented woman who loved to cook, as well as read and collect cookbooks. She was also a painter, quilter and spent time knitting and crocheting. Word searches more recently became a focus, and she would often complete books from front to back. April was well-known for her kindness, always having a smile and sweet words for those who crossed her path. Anyone who knew her loved her.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Staff of Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility Unit 3 who graciously and unselfishly cared for her during her stay there.

There will be no services held at this time.
