Barbara Joyce Bird, 83, of Alpine passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at home with her family by her side. She was born in the Town of Catharine on May 25, 1938 the daughter of George and Mabel Brown. Barbara loved life, her kids and grandchildren, great grandchildren and neighbors. She also enjoyed going to rummage sales. She is survived by three daughters, Colleen (Charlie), Kathy (Marty) and Tammy (Sam); son, James; six grandchildren, Gwen, Toni Rae, Tia, Dan, Rachael and Jacob; thirteen great grandchildren; and by eleven nieces and nephews. Barbara will be buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Odessa.
