Beatrice A. McParland, 81, of Watkins Glen, NY passed away on February 18, 2014. Beatrice was born on May 25, 1932 to Wilfred and Agnes Thibeault. She graduated from the Erasmus Hall High School in 1951. Beatrice was predeceased by her parents and her husband John. She is survived by daughter Mary Ellen (Dwight) Westlake of Cayuta, NY; son John P. McParland of Decatur, IN; and grandchildren Larry McParland, Amanda Westlake, Shannon Westlake and Robert McParland. Beatrice was an avid reader and loved the ocean and lighthouses. Graveside services were held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira. Those wishing may contribute to the American Cancer Society in Beatrice's name.
