Benjamin Edward Gleason, age 82, of Watkins Glen, NY, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. He was born on January 24, 1943 in Ithaca, NY to the late Omar and Mary (Lotito) Gleason. Benjamin graduated from Ithaca High School. He was a carpenter and a farmer, who worked on various construction projects and also for Chiccone Builders. He is predeceased by his second wife, Christine Gleason and third wife Donna Lejune Gleason; along with longtime companion of 28 years, Patricia Drew. He is survived by his first wife and mother of his children, Evelyn Doolittle Gleason; children, Maryanne Phillips, Ben (Molly) Gleason and Betsy Scott; siblings, Kathy Smith, Howard Gleason and Peggy Winkleblack; grandchildren, Josh (Victoria) Broda; and several great-grandchildren. Benjamin will be laid to rest at Sugar Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
