(December 30, 1923- January 14, 2021) Elizabeth "Betty" M. Lovell Miles moved her residence from Englewood, Florida/ Wilkesboro, North Carolina to Heaven on January 14, 2021. She was 97. She was previously deceased by her husband of 63 years, Richard "Dick" Miles. Betty was also previously deceased by her parents, Ivan and Hazel Lovell and John and Alma Beckwith of Steam Mill, Odessa. Mom/ GiGi is survived by her three adult children: Diane (Roger) Cameron of Webster, Dolores "Dee" (Burl) Huffman of Wilkesboro, N.C., and Bruce (Mary Ellen) Miles of Ellicott City, Maryland; seven grandchildren: Todd Cameron, Scott (Kristine Cameron), Tracey (Chad) Cubert, Jesse (Kelly) Huffman, Rachael (Peter) Morrow, Jeffrey (Allison) Miles, and Brian Miles; fifteen great grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was all about family. Betty graduated from Odessa High School in 1939 and Keuka College in 1943. She taught French and Latin for 25 years and loved to travel. She took her French students on numerous trips to Europe. Her mother, Hazel Lovell taught for forty years, Betty for twenty six years and Diane for thirty five. Dick and Betty were 50 year residents of Webster. She loved her home in Englewood. Betty was always very organized, she loved dancing through life with Dick, she wrote long letters and sent cards to so many people. Mailboxes will be empty and phones won't ring as often.
