Carl E. Jensen age 74 of Hector, NY died on November 25, 2011 after a valiant battle with cancer. Carl is survived by his wife Virginia. Daughters, Kristen & Lauren of Syracuse, NY, step children, Jeffrey Collins of Montour Falls, NY, Richard Collins of Odessa, NY, James Collins of Albuquerque, NM and Suzanne Tucker of Andes, NY, 12 Grandchildren and 7 Great grandchildren. Carl was born in Geneva, NY lived in Waterloo and graduated from Mynderse Academy, Seneca Falls, NY. He then attended Syracuse University and lived in the Syracuse area until 1973, when he moved to Schuyler County do to his love of the Finger Lakes and his involvement with motor racing at "the circuit." He and Virginia met there in 1973 and were married there a few years later. He can be remembered for his great sense of humor and gift of story telling and history lore, which continued to the end. Carl's wishes were to have no formal services, but a memorial get together will be held at a later date.
