Carolyn May (Giordano) Knowlton, age 85, of Watkins Glen, NY, passed away on October 2, 2025 at Cayuga Medical Center. Carolyn was born in Harford, CT on March 24, 1940 to the late Michael and Barbara (Julian) Giordano.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Kristen Louise; and her brother, David Michael Giordano. She is survived by her son, Michael; her daughter, Diane; a sister, Susan MacPherson; beloved grandchildren, Julian and Alexander; and great-granddaughter, Ivy Knowlton.

Carolyn graduated from Branford High School, Class of 1959 and from the School of Hard Knocks. She was a devoted school bus driver in Branford, CT for 25 years, retiring in 1998. She loved to sew, and was the caregiver for her family and friends throughout her life, which included beloved pets. She enjoyed history and reading anything published in print. She will be remembered by her stories, which were always epic. Carolyn will also be missed by her friends, Renee and Leah, and many other "adopted" kids.

There will be no services at this time. Memorial contributions can be made to a local animal shelter or food bank of one's choice.
