Charlene D. Rumsey, 56, of Savona, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at home. Born on May 31, 1963, she was the daughter of Tracy Ellis, Geraldine Pipe and her Stepfather Ralph Pipe. Charlene is a graduate from Candor Central School and at one time she worked at Poly-O Dairy in Campbell. Charlene had a huge love for Bingo as well as playing the Penny Slots at the Casino with her Fiance Greg. The best part of Charlene's day was spending time with her family, but mostly her beloved Grandchildren. She is survived by her children, William Niver (Naomi Schmidt)of Savona, Pamala Nagel (Joshua Jackson) of Bath, Mathew (Laura) Sanford of Campbell, and Jamie (Alexis) Nagel of Maryland, Kayla Nagel of Elmira Heights; her parents, Geraldine (Ralph) Pipe of Painted Post and Tracy (Lois) Ellis of Bath; fiancé, Gregory Bell of Savona; long time friend Kenneth Rumsey of step children, Brandon and Brittany Bell; Eric Rumsey, whom she considered like a son and her niece, MistiSu Ellis whom she considered like a daughter; brothers, David Turner of Elmira, Eugene (Crystal) Ellis of Cape Coral, FL, Michael Ellis of Bath and Amanda Rodrigues of Elmira; step brothers and step sisters, Bruce Pipe of Watkins Glen, Karen Arnold of Pensacola, FL, Holly (Wilbur) DeGraw of Cayuta. Ted (Debbie) Pipe of Burdett, Sandy (Bill) Earl of Dundee and Marcy Bordonaro of Penn Yan; grandchildren, Cassana Niver, Alexus Niver, Areyenna Nagel, Connor Nagel, BellaMae Vilardi, Amelia Nagel, Jordanne Hand, Dominick Hand, Alyssa Schmidt and Kera Schmidt; step grandchildren, Zoey, Emma and Lyric Bell; and by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, William Turner. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 1-2 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. Her funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Montour Cemetery.
