Charlie "Butchie" Narde, 71, of Watkins Glen, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Robert Packer Hospital. He was born in Elmira on September 22, 1949 the son of Joseph and Thelma (Reese) Narde. Charlie was a mechanic and paver. He worked at Shepard Niles for eight years and for Narde Paving on and off for fifty years. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidsons and building Hot Rods. He is survived by his best friend (dog) Baby; daughter, Jennifer Narde (Mikey Frey) of Watkins Glen; son, Jason Narde (Marianne Smith Narde) of Watkins Glen; sister, Barbara (Richard) Kurcoba of Elmira Heights; brother, Francis (Dawn) Narde of Elmira Heights; five grandchildren, Shelby Narde (Frankie C), Jason M. Narde, Aili Narde, Whitney Narde and Hannah Kniffen; three great grandchildren, Sir and Dommie Narde, and Amari'ana MacDowell; and by several nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
