Cheryl A. Grimes, age 60, of Odessa, NY passed away at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY on Friday, May 7th, 2021. Cheryl was born in Montour Falls, NY on June 16th, 1960, the daughter of Helen Fassett and the late Frederick Boyce, Sr. Cheryl had worked at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca for 25 years. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Brian D. Grimes; her mother, Helen (Fasset) Feldeisen; daughter, Kristyn (Lucas) Kelce; sons, Michael (Sara Armstrong) Capogrossi and James (Sadie Leroy) Ludlum; step sons, Robert (Kat) Grimes and Mathew (Courtney) Grimes; grandchildren, Cody Capogrossi, Levina Capogrossi, Brenny, Grayson, Griffin, and Harper Grimes, and Carolina Juarez; step mother, Julie Boyce; sister, Trina Shepard; step sisters, Jamie Sue Smith and Karen Rider; as well as, many other family members. Cheryl was predeceased by her father, Frederick Boyce Sr.; brother, Frederick Boyce Jr.; and step father, Russell Feldeisen. A gathering celebrating her life will be held privately for her family.
