Chester Dale Spicer, 76, of Lowman, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019. He was born in Salem, NJ on August 21, 1943, the son of the late Chester H. and Marianna (Turner) Spicer. Dale proudly served as a Corporal with the US Marine Corps from 1960-1964. He was a Lieutenant in the security department at Tropicana Casino, a landscaper at Seaview Marriot in Galloway, NJ, and a special officer for the Salem Police Department. He was also a member of the Washington Fire Company in Salem, NJ. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joanne; daughters, Christine (Tom) Hibbert of Mays Landing, NJ, and Jennifer (Joe) Orbin of Horseheads; six grandchildren Jeff, Rylee, Ava, Brock, Gunnar, and Jace, three sisters, a brother, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 10-11 am at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am followed by burial with full military honors at Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Romulus.
