Cindy Ann Merrill, 69, of Beaver Dams, NY, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Guthrie Corning Hospital with her loved ones by her side. She was born in Penn Yan, NY on October 2, 1954 the daughter of the late Brian and Betty (Emery) Rogers. She married Victor G. Merrill on October 20, 1979 in Watkins Glen, NY. He passed away in 2014.

Cindy worked for Schuyler County Head Start as well as a hairdresser. She enjoyed caring for her best friend Ella and her chickens.

Cindy is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Adrian) Sanford of Bradford, NY; son Harold (Marie) Delamater of Elmira, NY; two sisters, Nora (Art) Niver of Millport, NY and Elizabeth Rogers of Dundee, NY; three brothers, David (Kim) Rogers of Hector, NY, Ty (Kay) Rogers of Watkins Glen, NY and Frank (Beth) Rogers of Danville, PA; nine grandchildren, Brittany Sanford, Chelsey (Clinton) Webster, Austin Sanford, Dakota, Adam, Ronnie, Bonnie and Jacob Delamater, and Hunter Crofoot; three great grandchildren, Ayla and Jax Webster, and Elliot Delamater; her pet companion and baby Ella; and by seven nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 11:00 am at Montour Cemetery, Mill St. (Upper Entrance), Montour Falls, NY.
