Root, Connie Ann, age 61 of County Road 10, Alpine, NY passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011 in the comfort of her home. Her Husband, David B. Root, survives Connie. She is also survived by her Mother, Frieda Tietz of Harvard, Idaho, and Sisters: Carol M. Smith (Bert) of Prinston, Idaho, Katie S. Sorensen (Jerry) of Helena, Montana and Ruthie E. Carpenter (John) of Harvard, Idaho. 6 Nieces & Nephews and 6 Great Nieces & Nephews. Mother & Father in law: Thelma & John Root. Connie is predeceased by her Father, Arthur A. Tietz. She also leaves many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and numerous friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Connie on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 4:00 PM. at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY.
