Crystal L. Brehm

Crystal Lane Brehm, 45, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026.

She was born in Gowanda, NY on October 6, 1980, the daughter of Daniel E. Brehm and Elaine M. Ortell. Crystal graduated from Groton Junior Senior High School in 1999 and attended Tompkins Cortland Community College where she studied to be a Paralegal.

Crystal was a member of Hope Church in Corning. Her hobbies included writing, reading, coloring, arts & crafts. She loved traveling, going to concerts and trying new restaurants.

She is survived by her life partner of 7 years, Matthew Norton; daughter, Rinaie Cornell; niece and nephew (foster children), Greenlee Park and Devonte Park; her parents, Daniel Brehm, Elaine Brehm; brother, John Brehm; sisters, Jeanie Hartman and Lucie Brehm; step-sister, Jennifer Baker; and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 3:00 pm at Odessa Baptist Church, Fowler Place, Odessa, NY.
