Daniel J. Rahilly Sr. of Montour Falls passed away peacefully on March 25 at home with his family. Survived by his wife Lisa of 41 years, and their three sons, Patrick, Daniel Jr. and Jesse, daughters-in-law, Nancy, Catrine, Shannin and eight grandchildren, Michael, Gabriel, Conner, Cameron, Emma Rose, Madison, Jace, and Chelsea. Anyone who knew Dan, appreciated his big heart, his ready laugh, and the kindness he bestowed upon everyone he met – which by the way he never met a stranger. Dan was known for his love of family and his love of his work, where a day never went by that he wasn't swinging a hammer – building was his passion - a legacy he passed on to his children. Dan never saw an obstacle; he was an optimist that always had an open door for those in need. Dan's loss will be felt in the local community as he was a friend and acquaintance to so many.
