David M. Davis, 59, of Odessa, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018. He was born in Montour Falls on November 13, 1958, the son of the late Walter and Isabelle (Landon) Davis and attended Watkins Glen schools. David was employed at Robinson Lumber for many years, and most recently worked at Silgan Plastics in Penn Yan. He was a member of the Fishing Club of America. David was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, camping, and carpentry.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Walter Davis, Jr., and John Davis; sister-in-law, Beth Davis; and grandsons, Travis and Jacob West.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Diana Davis; daughters, Jessica Davis-West (Michael) , Jennifer Davis, and Tina Davis (Brad Smith); four grandchildren, Jade and Kyle West, Courtney Davis and Natalie Smith; great granddaughter, Serena West; sisters, Sandra Davis, Diane (Randy) Carns, Carol (Wayne) Kinner, Cindy Miller, and Becky (James) Johnston; brothers, Dale (Kathy) Davis, Harry (Gloria) Davis, Ransome Davis, and Dana (Carol) Davis; sister-in-law, Carol Davis; and by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 4-6 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. Burial will be in Union Cemetery of Burdett later in the spring.
