David Otto Turner, age 62 of Elmira, NY passed away at home on July 8th, 2022. David was born in Corning, NY on January 1st, 1960, the son of Otto Turner and Geraldine Pipe. He was honorably discharged from the US Army in 1979. He was employed for the last 15 ½ years with the Chemung County Nursing Facility in Elmira. He was a wonderer in his younger years. David is survived by his mother, Geraldine (Ralph) Pipe of Painted Post; brother, Eugene Ellis of Cape Coral, FL; five step siblings; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his father, Otto Turner; brother, William Turner; sister, Charlene Rumsey; and step brother, Bruce Pipe. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 11:00 am at Montour Cemetery, Mill St. (Middle Entrance), Montour Falls, NY.
