Dawn Marie Vincent, 52, of Alpine, NY, went to be with Jesus on Monday, September 4, 2023 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Hammonton, New Jersey, on November 24, 1970, the daughter of Peter F. and Carol Bruno, Sr. She graduated from Odessa-Montour Central School in 1989. Most of Dawn's career was in Hotel Housekeeping. She was a member of His Tabernacle Family Church in Horseheads. Dawn loved her family and spending time with friends. She enjoyed singing, going dancing, shopping, walking around the mall, and eating good food. Dawn is survived by her fiancé, George W. States, III; two daughters, Rachel Bruno of Interlaken, NY and Jacqulyn (Gavin) Corey of Corning, NY; mother, Carol Bruno of Odessa, NY; two sisters, Carol Bruno of Lafayette, TN and Lisa (Bryan) Rhoads of Odessa, NY; two brothers, Frank Bruno and Peter Bruno, Jr. both of Millport, NY; seven nieces and nephews, Shana, Nicole, Alyssa (Katie), Stephanie, Noah (Brooke), Mikayla, and Hannah; and great niece and great-nephews: Elijah, Amelia, Hudson and Ayden. She was predeceased by her father, Peter F. Bruno, Sr. A celebration of life for Dawn will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, from 6-8 pm at His Tabernacle Family Church, 16 Level Acres Drive, Horseheads, NY.
