Debra S. Coons Morgan Brooke, 67 of Montour Falls, NY entered unto rest on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Schuyler Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Dundee, NY on August 5, 1956 the daughter of Fred S. coons and Eleanor Delia Bailey and graduated from Corning Community College. On August 23, 1986 she married William Michael Brooke. Debra's favorite thing to do was putting puzzles together. She also enjoyed being on the bowling league in Dundee, NY. Debra is survived by her daughters, Stacey (Robin) Lokken of Burdett and Kimberly Brooke of Montour Falls; one sister, Patricia Rumsey of Reading Center, NY; three grandchildren, Jacob Lokken (Jessica) and Jonathan Lokken (Leah) both of Watkins Glen, and Zachary Smith of Montour Falls, NY. She was predeceased by her parents; husband William Brooke; brother, Calvin (Fran) Coons; sisters, Jean (David) Troy and Judith Houck; and brother-in-law, George Rumsey. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Burdett Volunteer Fire Department, 4124 Lake Ave, Burdett, NY 14818. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, Montour Falls, NY.
