Diana M. Rumsey, 61, of Odessa, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021. She was born in Elmira, New York on January 14, 1960, the daughter of Clifford and Lois (Lane) Rumsey. Diana graduated from Odessa-Montour High School in 1978. Diana worked in non-profits as a fundraiser and grant writer. She worked for Operation Smile, Food Bank of the Southern Tier, and most recently at Ithaca College. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dennis Jenkins; son, Matthew (Alysson) Jenkins of Norfolk, VA; step children, Christopher and Jessica Jenkins of Senath, MO; mother, Lois Rumsey of Odessa; sister, Deborah (Hiram) Lyon of Rochester; and two nephews, Hiram and Ethan Lyon. She was predeceased by her father, Clifford Rumsey in 2006. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. Her funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm followed by burial in Highland Cemetery.
