Donald David Bauman, 88, of Montour Falls, passed on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at his daughter's home in Corning. He was born in Elmira on August 11, 1935, the son of the late William Bauman and Josephine King. Donald loved to hunt with his brothers and especially with his nephews. Don would always talk about his late wife, Beverly, and how he missed his honey. Don would always enjoy visits from his family and friends, he greatly appreciated all the love he was shown and was able to pour out over the years. Don was a member of Glen Baptist Church in Watkins Glen. More recently attended Central Baptist Church in Corning with his daughter, Elissa Gleason, and family since April 2022. Don is survived by his three daughters, Barbette (Clay) Hagood, Karen (Mark) Isaacson, and Elissa (Kevin) Gleason; one son, Richard (Susan) Michael; twelve grandchildren, Clayton, Michael, Kevin J., Kara, Kevin D., Shauna, Andrew, Nathaniel, Ashley, Brooke, Christopher, Joseph; and 17 great grandchildren, Taylor, Kelsie, Kaylee, Anthony, Reign, Teagan, Camden, Landon, Elijah, Caleb, Josiah, Seth, Asher, Lorelei, Henry, Azariah, Luke. He was predeceased by his wife Beverly Ann Bauman and his brothers, Robert Bauman, Oakley Bauman, Gordon Bauman, and sister, Ruth Marshal. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 am at Glen Baptist Church, 3311 Reading Rd., Watkins Glen. Donald's funeral services will begin at 11:00 am followed by burial in Montour Cemetery.
