With profound sadness we announce the passing of Donna R. Strong, age 78, on Wednesday March 24, 2021. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend to all whose lives she touched. She was born in Elmira, NY on June 21, 1942. She was the previous co-owner of the Wigwams Bait & Tackle in Montour Falls. Her passion for wedding florals led her to own and operate Especially Unique Wedding Designs while living in St. Petersburg, FL. Even after returning to Watkins Glen, NY she was very active with wedding florals and crafting. She was the beloved mother of BetteLynn (Anthony) Bravo of Reading Center, NY and Pam (Louis) Antunez of Mount Vernon, NY. She was also the proud grandmother of Louie (Leshawn) Antunez IV, Jesse Antunez, Jakob Antunez, Troye Cornwall, Joshua Bravo, Angelina Bravo and a very special cousin, Johnna (Jim) Blake. She will be forever in our hearts and dearly missed by many. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 1-3 pm at Haughey-Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, 119 Fifth St., Watkins Glen, NY.
