Doris M. "Punky" Fritz, 76, of Montour Falls, NY, passed away on January 28, 2023 at home. She was born on November 22, 1946 the daughter of the late Clarence and Muriel (Coats) Merrill. Punky was a house cleaner for many years. She enjoyed crochet, pottery, crafts and going to rummage sales. She was a member of the Montour Moose Lodge. She is survived by two sons, Patrick Casselberry of Watkins Glen and Gene (Jesse) Casselberry of Cayuta; sister, Linda (Butch) Wood of Millport; brother, Bob Merrill of Watkins Glen; four grandchildren, Crystal Casselberry 23, Heidi Casselberry 22, Eugene Casselberry, Jr. 19, and Calie Casselberry, 13; two great grandchildren, Cole Casselberry 2 and Aubrey Casselberry 8 months; and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Barb (Bud) Cilley. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 1-4 pm at the Montour Moose Lodge, 2096 State Route 14, Montour Falls, NY.
