Elizabeth J. " Jeannie" Derr, 70, of Catharine, NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Born in Elmira, NY on September 25, 1950, the daughter of Willard and Shirley Daugherty. She graduated from EFA high school in Elmira, NY and worked at the skilled nursing unit at Schuyler Hospital. Jeannie enjoyed family picnics, cleaning, soap operas and yard sales. She was a very soft spoken woman with a kind heart who loved her whole family. She will be missed by many, but also reunited with her loved ones that have already passed on. She was predeceased by her husband, Duane "Butch" Derr, and three brothers Jim (Connie) Daugherty, Ron (Pam) Daugherty and Dan (Deb) Daugherty. She is survived by her four children, Stephanie (Paul) Marion, Susan (Mike) Beebe, Richard (April) Derr, and Christine (Bryon) Derr; two brothers, Willard Jr. (Barb) Daugherty and Ralph (Deb) Daugherty; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. There will be no services held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Any memorial donations can be made to an Alzheimer's Association of your choice.
