Elizabeth L. Reed, 88, of Montour Falls and formerly of Burdett, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017. She was born on April 19, 1928 in Reading Center. She worked on the Coon family farm and retired from Cornell University. Elizabeth enjoyed volunteering at the Silver Spoon Café in Montour Falls for many years. She loved nature, animals and birds. She was a member of the Burdett Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her close friends, Phyllis Eggersdorf, Priscilla and Don Kelley, and Eric Lyon; and by many friends and neighbors. Friends may gather on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 12:30-2:00 pm at the Silver Spoon Café, 323 Owego St., Montour Falls. Arrangements have been entrusted to Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, Montour Falls.
