Elizabeth A. (Rouse) Stratton, 89, of Watkins Glen, NY died on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. She was born in Tioga, PA on July 23, 1933 the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Rouse. She graduated from Northside Blodgett High School in Corning and was a Navy Reservist. Elizabeth was a homemaker. She loved the Westminster Dog Show, watching it every year. Elizabeth also enjoyed watching the Puppy Bowl at Super Bowl time. Elizabeth is survived by two daughters, Karen E. (Donald) Spaccio of Montour Falls and Bonnie Gill of Towanda, PA; a son, Thomas R. (Susan) Knapp of Bradenton, FL; a sister, Maxine (Nicolas) Faulisi of South Corning; six grandchildren, Arthur Gill of San Diego, CA, Sarah A. Gill of Waverly, NY, Sadie L. (Bill) Murphy of Wyalusing, PA, Lorraine E. Gill of Laceyville, PA, Andrew M. (Jess) Spaccio of Candor, NY and Dominic R. (Carissa) Spaccio of Montour Falls, NY; nine great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her sister, Miriam Bronson; brother, Rodney Rouse; and by her husbands, Robert W. Knapp, Alan Hicks and Robert Stratton. Private services were held on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Montour Cemetery.
