Eloise Rundle MacDowell 94 of Odessa passed away December 5th at Seneca View. She was born March 17, 1922 to LeRoy and Beulah Ward, Beartown Road, Painted Post, NY. She is survived by daughters Sandra (Jimmy) Seafuse, Barbara (Jim) Halpin, Kathy Brown (Daniel, deceased), 6 grandchildren, 9 great grand-children, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husbands Charles William (Bill) Rundle and Richard MacDowell, and three brothers. She was Odessa Village Clerk, Odessa-Montour School cafeteria manager and a registered nurse at Schuyler Hospital. She was very active in the community including the Odessa Baptist Church. She was an accomplished seamstress and a fabulous cook and baker. She enjoyed gardening and traveled extensively in the U.S. with both her husbands. She and husband Dick transformed a bare field into the beautiful property in Odessa where she has been living. The family wishes to recognize the special and loving care given their Mom by Audrey and Noreen. Arrangements are by the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home and services will be held at the discretion of the family at a later time.
