Elsie Arlene Rarrick, 81, of Lorain, Ohio and formerly of Cayuta, NY went to meet with her Heavenly Father on Friday, April 20, 2018. She was born in Elmira on August 29, 1936, the daughter of the late George and Mildred (Kennedy) Learn. Arlene was a lifelong homemaker, lovingly caring for her husband and children. Mrs. Rarrick was a member of the Highway Tabernacle Assembly of God Church in Van Etten where she was active as a board member and also in cleaning the church. She was predeceased by her husband, John Rarrick, son John "Jack" Rarrick, and brother, Dick Learn. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Freeman of Lorain, OH; brother, Gerald Learn of Oakland, CA; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 5-6 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm with Rev. Donald Earley officiating. Burial will be in Cayuta Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Highway Tabernacle Assembly of God Church, 922 State Route 224, Van Etten, NY 14889.
