Eugene "Gene" Dupuy of Watkins Glen, NY passed away on March 12,2020 at Schuyler Hospital. Gene was the son of Harry and Jean Dupuy, born on May 1, 1951 in Bronx, NY. Gene retired from a long career as truck driver with JM Trucking in 2015. Gene was most known for his dirt racing career throughout NYS, but most importantly at Dundee racetrack (Outlaw Speedway). Although retiring from racing he was still a prominent member in the racing community. He will be leaving his position as Scale Operator at Outlaw Speedway this season. Anyone who knew Gene, can and always will remember him by his remarkable racing talent, ability to crack a joke, his love for swisher sweet cigars and his daughters. He's predeceased by his mother Jean and father Harry. He is survived by his brothers Jimmie (Robin) DuPay of Burdett, Timmie Dupuy, Karen Arnold mother of daughters Amanda Arnold and Megan Dupuy of Watkins Glen, daughters Karla Albee of Watkins Glen and Jessica Brewer of Ithaca, 2 granddaughters (Isabella and Adrianna), 4 grandsons (Kurtis, Douglas, Bryce and Chase) and 3 great granddaughters, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the Moose Club in Montour Falls from 2-5pm.
