Gascon, Evelyn M (Yaw) Age 62, of Montour Falls, NY passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at home with her family by her side. Relatives and friends are invited to call at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee Street, Montour Falls, NY on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 11 AM to 1 PM. Her funeral and committal service will be held there following visitations at 1 PM with the Rev. George Norton officiating. Burial will follow at Hector Presbyterian Cemetery, Hector, NY. Mrs. Gascon is survived by her son Sam (Becky) Gascon of Dundee, NY; brothers Douglas (Peg) Yaw of Ovid, NY; Philip (Diane) Yaw Jr. of Corning, NY; Richard Yaw of Horseheads, NY; grandchildren Leah Gascon of Wayne, Ryan Gascon of Watkins Glen, Heather Gascon of Dundee, Rennee Thomas of Dundee, Kadelynn Miller of Dundee; aunts, uncles and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gascon is predeceased by her parents Philip and Mary Yaw Sr. and sisters Phyllis Smith and Margaret Yaw.
