Obituary
Fay C. VanNordstrand, III, 81, of Odessa, NY passed away on July 24, 2024. He was born in Montour Falls, NY on February 21, 1943 the son of the late Fay and Marilynn VanNordstrand, II.
Fay was an avid racer. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Michele (Gary) of Burdett; son, Scott (Kathy) of Montour Falls; brothers, Jim of Newark Valley, NY and Mitch (Beth) of DeRuyter, NY; four grandchildren, Richard Matwiejow, Zackary VanNordstrand, Logan Valentine (Eric) Stephanie Bates (Keagan); four great grandchildren, Maddox, Haidyn, Evvie and Tamen; and a niece and nephew. He was predeceased by his wife, Marilyn VanNordstrand in 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 1-4 pm at the Odessa American Legion, 2532 Steam Mill Rd., Odessa, NY.
