Francis S. Just, 71, of Montour Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. He was born in Montour Falls on September 26, 1949, the son of the late Harold and Margaret (Englert) Just. Frank worked as a heat treater at Shepard-Niles for many years. He was a life member of the Mechanics Club and a former member of the Montour Moose Lodge. Frank loved gardening, fishing, cooking and baking, especially Christmas cookies. He loved classic cars and restored a 1965 Oldsmobile 442, a 1968 Oldsmobile Delta 88 and a 1968 Impala Fastback which he still owned. He also raised Cocker Spaniels for many years. Frank is survived by his wife, Sandra K. Just; children, Anthony Just of Painted Post, Tracey Gay (James) of Montour Falls and Michael Just (Marty) of Cayuta; a sister, Lorraine Just; a brother, Ronald Just; three grandchildren, Mary, Morgan and James, Jr.; and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a son, Stephen Just and a special cousin, Beverly Ostrowski. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 4-7 pm at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. A celebration of Frank's life will be held at a later date.
