Frank E. Blanchard, Jr., 58, of Mecklenburg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 27, 2015 at home. He was born in Bath on September 12, 1956, the son of the late Frank and Mildred Blanchard, Sr. He graduated from Watkins Glen High School and served honorably with the US Air Force. Frank worked at Therm in Ithaca for 37 years. He is survived by his soulmate, Bonnie Mayer; Grace and Hope Edger who considered him their dad; brothers, Kenneth Blanchard of Beaver Dams and Alan Blanchard of Texas. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 4-8 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls.
