Frank B. Compton, 91, of Burdett, passed away peacefully October 25, 2011. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Hazel. He is survived by his children Dick (Janet) Compton of Ovid, NY, Ed (Sharon) Compton of Ovid, NY, Ruth (Don) Murray of Trumansburg, NY, Mary (Jack) Arcangeli of Burdett, NY, Sid (Pam) Compton of Westfield, NY, Robert (Sue) Compton of Westfield, NY, Paul (Donna) Compton of Burdett, NY, Jack (Lisa) Compton of Warm Springs, VA and Betty (Patrick) Delong of Burdett, NY, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Frank served in World War II as a TEC4. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Hector, NY. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Burdett Fire Department and/or the Valois, Logan, Hector Fire Department.
