Gary W. Tuttle, 60, of County Road 9, Burdett, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 after a long, courageous battle. He is survived by his wife, Faye (Bailey) Tuttle; children, Gary (Margaret) Tuttle, Gregory Tuttle, Greta (Chris) Zafonte, Marlana (Bill) Beardsley, Melissa (Jesse) Smith, and Marianne (Jason) Narde; sister, Diane (Calvin) Carl; 18 precious grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Gary was predeceased by his parents Harry "Bucky" and Phyllis (Dean)Tuttle, and sister Donna Kelley. Gary was employed by Painters and Allied Trades until his retirement in 2009. He was a member of the Burdett Fire Department for 40 years, and a member of the Montour Moose Club. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 2-4 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. A service will follow at the conclusion of calling hours.
