Grace Corabelle Rockwell (Robbins), 91, formerly of Odessa, NY peacefully passed away on September 8th 2024 at Seneca View in Montour Falls, NY. Grace was born on February 10th 1933 to Charles and Virginia Robbins in Limestone, PA. She married Thomas Leo Rockwell on June 9th, 1955. She was last employed as a food server at Ithaca College. She is survived by sons Randy Rockwell and John Rockwell (Brenda), granddaughter Sarah Rockwell, great grandchildren Sean, Briana and Bianca, sisters Barbara Jane Sundell (William) and Louise Schoenthal, numerous nieces and nephews and close friend Betty Underdown. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas, her brothers Delmont, William, Alva and sisters Virginia Wright and Margaret Robbins, daughter-in-law Mari Rockwell and grandson Thomas W. Rockwell. Grace could often be found working on sewing and quilting projects on her own or in her later years with her quilting guild. She was well known for her skills in the kitchen, loving to cook and make pie, which she passed down to her grandchildren. One of her favorite past times was playing cards and making homemade ice cream. She spent many fond times with family traveling all over the United States, with a particularly memorable trip to Alaska with her mother, and brother along with their families. On one of her many trips, she traveled to Florida to visit her sister Virginia, and they then traveled to California to visit their sister Louise. A graveside service officiated by Pastor Kevin Austin will be held in honor of Grace on Thursday, September 19th at 2 pm at Laurel Hill 2481 N Settlement Rd Odessa NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to your favorite charity in Grace's memory.
