Harvey John "Jack" Hathaway, 84, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls. He was born on December 16, 1934 in Tillsonburg, Oxford, Canada, the son of the late Bill and Florence (Young) Hathaway. Jack served with the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a retired funeral director, and had a passion for racing and animals. He was predeceased by his brothers, Al, Keith and William; and sister, Phyllis.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammi Rhodes of Watkins Glen; grandsons, John-Michael (Sarah) Rhodes of Hurley, NY and Mitchell (Vikki) Rhodes of Montour Falls; great granddaughter, Eleanor Rhodes and great grandson, Chase Dennis both of Montour Falls; extended step family in PA; brother, Edward (Dorothy) Hathaway of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada; and many nieces, nephews and their families.

At Jack's request there will be no services. Burial will be held at a later date at Tyler Hill Cemetery in Springville, PA. Arrangements by Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, Montour Falls.
