Helen (Holik) Masin, and graduated from Odessa-Montour High School. Helen was an LPN with Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic in Palmyra for 16 years. She was a member of the CSA. Helen enjoyed polka dancing, country line dancing, her cats, and helping other people. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family. She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Charles D. Masin in 2016; and a sister, Marianne Kelley in 2002. She is survived by her children, Charles (Amanda) Friends of Cayuta, Amy Kelly (Mitch Gleckner) of Pine City; grandchildren, Daniel J. Iorio, Sean Kelly, Xander Friends, Shelby Duplan, Madisyn Friends, JulieAnn and Jocelyn Gleckner; nephews, Jonathan (Katherine) Nierenburg and Jason (Hida)Nierenburg; great nephews, Sean Masin Nierenburg and Colton Nierenburg; best friend, Ann Pieters of Newark; and by many cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 5-7 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Helen's name to the Horseheads Animal Shelter or the American Cancer Society.
