Herbert E. Wheeler, Jr., 60, of Elmira, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017. He was born in Corning on June 26, 1957, the son of the late Herbert E. "Hurk" Wheeler, Sr. and Naomi Fritzon. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Wheeler; sons, David Wilson and Herbert E. Wheeler III; daughters, Linda (Erik) Wilson Davis and Darla Wheeler; sisters, Mary Wheeler (Bruce Lawrence), Kathy Fritzon and Diane Fritzon-Eldred (Jonathon); brothers, Frank Wheeler, John Fritzon (Kathy Covert), and Kenny Faucett; brother-in-law, Gary Reasor, Sr.; grandchildren, Dillon, Branden, Jakob, Reagan, Jazmine, Elijah, Liberty, Tammy, Christopher, Noah, and Luke; and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Jason Lee Wheeler, and granddaughter, Heaven Lee Wheeler. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
