James H. Kibbe, 60, of Sugar Hill, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, December 13, 2021. Jim is survived by the love of his life, Janet Blankenship; pets, Smokey and Daisy; sister, Debra Rice; brother, Scott (Terry Dhuy) Kibbe; step-daughter, Amanda (Krystal) Sly; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Phyllis Kibbe. Jim worked for many years as a mechanic at Specchio Ford, and most recently at Maguire's in Watkins Glen. Jim loved his "estate on Sugar Hill", doing yardwork, watching the deer and birds in his yard, riding his motorcycle, camping, fishing and just going for long drives with Janet. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date at the fire pond on Tower Hill.
