Jesse F. Pully

Jesse F. Pully, 78, departed this life on Friday, September 25, 2026.

He was born in Lancaster, PA on March 20, 1948, the son of the late Harry and Josephine (Kuster) Pully. Jesse is survived by his loving wife and soulmate of 57 years Jolinda, brother David (Wife Olinda, Children Allison and Jo), son Ben (Wife Dina, Children Brice and Kendall), and daughter Jennifer (Husband John, Children Easton and Marshal).

A devout family man and a man worth calling a friend, Jesse was an avid outdoorsman and proud steward of the land on which he lived for over 50 years. An electrician by trade, he was a maple syrup producer, master carpenter, grillmaster, craftsman, and talented problem solver for all who needed his services. There was quite literally nothing he could not accomplish once he set his mind to it.

Jesse was integral in establishing the Watkins Glen chapter of Ducks Unlimited in 2007, and was bestowed the honor of being named the New York State Conservationist of the year in 2019.

Following high school, Jesse attended Cornell University for 2 years before selflessly enlisting in the United States Army where he was attached to the 16th Artillery Unit of the Americal Division, Chu Lai, Vietnam. A proud patriot, he was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for serving his country.
