Joann M. (Povero) DeLeury passed away on January 16, 2021 after an extended illness. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Domenica Povero, her husband John H. DeLeury, and her son John D. DeLeury. She is survived by her children Kimberly Joslyn of Ithaca, NY, Michelle (Michael Colunio) Bump, James (Shannon) Joslyn of Beaver Dams, NY, Anthony Joslyn of Montour Falls, NY, and Terri DeLeury of Greece, NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Noah and Cassidy Bump, Hannah Joslyn, and Brad and Spencer Gay. Joann enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and spending time with the family she loved. In keeping with Joann's wishes there will be no calling hours. A private burial will take place at Holy Cross cemetery in the spring. Anyone wishing to do so, can make a memorial contribution to the Humane Society of Schuyler County.
