Joann K. Whitted

Joann K. (Inman) Whitted, age 70, of Montour Falls, NY, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Schuyler Hospital. Joann was born in Ithaca, NY on April 14, 1955 to the late Calvin C. and Etta E. (Tyler) Inman.

Joann was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Michael Inman and Calvin Inman; and a sister, Linda Smith. She is survived by a son, Timothy Whitted; three daughters; longtime companion, Robert Franklin; siblings, Russell (Stacy) Whitted, Patricia (Mike) Allen and Sandra Inman; along with eight grandchildren.

Joann worked in the Catering Dept. at Cornell University for many years. She enjoyed gardening, helping friends and watching wildlife. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. `

A Celebration of Life will be held in late spring. Contributions may be made to your local animal shelter, Veterans or mental health organization.
