Jose` N. Medina, 72, of 275 Rorick Hollow Rd., Lowman, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015. Mr. Medina was born in Yabacoa, Puerto Rico on October 30, 1942, the son of the late Jose and Hilda Medina. Mr. Medina retired from Elmira Correctional Facility as a computer instructor after 21 years. He was a loving husband and father who was loved and respected by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Linda; children, Geri Stutzman (Curt), son-in-law, John Stutzman, Donna Decker (Brian), Jose` Medina, II (Cindy), Nicolas Medina (Diana), Catalina Enright (John), and Antonio Medina; 15 grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Reinaldo Medina (Pat), Hector Medina (Magdalena), and Roberto Medina; 3 sisters, Eneida Mendez (Louie), Lourdes Medina, and Lucy Yanchowsky (David); sister-in-law, Gretta Donovan (Terry), brother-in-law, Gary Ayers, brother-in-law, George Ayers (Lucy); and sister-in-law, Sherry Ayers. He was predeceased by a brother Juan Medina. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls.
