Joy Hanlon, age 85, of Odessa, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, August 5, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Joy was the daughter of the late George and Thelma Sullivan. Joy will be remembered as fun loving. She enjoyed playing cards, beautiful flowers, feeding the birds, and being a Brownie and Girl Scout leader. Joy was an x-ray technician at Arnot-Ogden Hospital and worked for Dr. Ward in Odessa. She was a wonderful homemaker as well. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband William. Joy is survived by her daughter, Sue (James) Wigglesworth; son, Mike (Laurie) Hanlon; grandsons, Kyle and Neil Hanlon; sister Kay Anderson; and several nieces and a nephew. Friends and family may call from 11 AM to 12 PM on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the Odessa Methodist Church with a service and luncheon to follow.
