Joyce C. (Miller) Blank, 88, of Burdett, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Seneca View SNF in Montour Falls. She was born in Reading Center, NY on March 8, 1933 the daughter of the late Stanley and Theresa (McCoy) Miller. She married Elwyn L. Blank in Reading Center on July 22, 1953. He passed away on June 4, 2017. Joyce was a homemaker and at one time worked in the cafeteria at Watkins Glen Elementary School. She was a member of the Beaver Dams United Methodist Church and volunteered with the Schuyler Hospital Auxiliary. Joyce was a talented artist and a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Joyce is survived by her daughter, Pamela Joy Blank-Jarvis of Tucson, AZ; sons, Christopher Elwyn Blank of Rochester and Trenton Joel Blank of Tucson, AZ; sister, Carol J. Miller Babcock of Altamonte Springs, FL.; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 9-10 am at Beaver Dams United Methodist Church, 1285 County Road 19, Beaver Dams. Her funeral service will begin at 10:00 am followed by burial at Pleasant View Cemetery, Cemetery Rd., Reading Center. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, Montour Falls.
