Joyce Ann Symes, 94, of Millport, NY passed away on August 3, 2023. She was born in Burdett, NY on August 23, 1928, the daughter of Lou and Lula Baker. She was married to Robert Symes on May 19, 1957 in the Burdett Methodist Church where she was a member. They enjoyed 66 years together. Joyce worked as a housekeeper for many years. She is survived by her husband, Robert; cousins Bill and Mary Jo Couch; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Charles Baker. A private graveside service will be held at the Union Cemetery of Hector in Burdett, NY.
